Who’s where
Green is your room, pink is where friends are. One click to join.
Voice, chat and screen sharing for a group of friends on your own server. Everyone in one room, wherever they are, with sound that keeps up.
Live sound
Calls run through your server, with no third-party service in the middle. When the connection sags, there is Anti-lag: one switch, fewer dropouts.
Invite only
One person sets up the server, the rest need only a link: open it, sign up, and the newcomer is already in friends. No server addresses or passwords to hand out, and no strangers get in.
For games
Neural noise suppression removes keyboards and fans. Push to talk works on any key, even with Gomex minimized and a game on screen. Calls have camera and screen sharing.
Like Discord
Voice rooms show who is inside, and joining takes one click. Mentions, replies, reactions and files work as in Discord, nothing new to learn.

Servers, list and chat in their usual places. Nothing to get used to.
A test call on first launch. If the direct route fails, Anti-lag turns on by itself.
Green is your room, pink is where friends are. One click to join.
Noise suppression mutes keyboards and street noise.
Everyone gets a personal link. Newcomers land straight in friends.
Everything else
Channels, direct messages, groups. Text and voice in one window, laid out like Discord.
Camera and screen. A game or a desktop for friends to watch. Video is never cropped.
Push to talk. Any key or mouse button, even with the window minimized.
Noise suppression. Off, standard or strong: strong mutes keyboards and street noise.
Mentions and replies. Every mention and reply collects in Notifications.
Reactions and files. Emoji under a message, files by drag and drop.
History search. Finds where a friend dropped that one link.
Runs in the background. A closed window does not stop calls.
Updates itself. A new version installs on restart.
Nightly backups. A copy of messages and files once a day, kept for two weeks.
Anti-lag. Calls relayed through the server, fewer dropouts on weak networks. The server can turn it on for everyone.
Lightweight. The cheapest server is enough.
Messages, files and calls go through your server, not a third-party service.
Invite only, no strangers.
No email, phone number or ID: a nickname, a password and an invite.
Install
Only the server and the domain are paid for. No subscriptions.
One person does this. A low-cost server and a domain; the wizard asks for the rest and sets it all up.
$curl -fsSL https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@gomex.llc/install/install.sh | sh
For everyone else. Installs like any other program; on first launch an invite link is all it needs.
Also works without installing: the server address in a browser, phones included.
Calls run through your server, with no third-party services in the middle. When the connection sags, Anti-lag helps: Gomex offers to turn it on, and turns it on by itself on first launch if a direct call does not go through.
Same layout and habits: servers on the left, channels and voice rooms next to them, direct messages, reactions, files, camera and screen sharing. The difference: the server is your own, and entry is by invite only.
Something like TeamSpeak and Discord combined: your own server, as with TeamSpeak, and the familiar Discord interface with chat, direct messages, camera and screen sharing. People join with an invite link, no address or password to hand out.
Calls and messages go through your server, not a third-party service. Messages and files are stored on that server. Whoever installed the server has access to it, so it is best installed by someone everyone trusts.
Only with a personal invite link. By default one link lets five people sign up, and each lands straight in the inviter’s friends.
One low-cost server (VPS) on Ubuntu or Debian with 1 GB of memory or more, and a domain. The setup wizard asks for what it needs and does the rest.
No separate app. On a phone Gomex opens in the browser with its own layout and can be added to the home screen. Desktop apps are available for Mac and Windows.
Yes, with the records left as DNS only (grey cloud). Calls do not pass through the Cloudflare proxy. The installer shows which records to add.
